I've got my thinking cap on. The thing I'm having a problem with is that the blue in the shower curtain clashes with the blue-green tile. We must find a way to bring the two together. I'm thinking paint of some sort. But I need more time to think. Hmmm...

As for the mirror, I like DivaDeb's idea, though it sounds difficult. How handy are you with a paint brush?

I'm thinking the frame should be painted a glossy white - then repaint the cabinets to same glossy white. Aren't you glad I thought of that? I could sense you were in the mood for painting cabinets.

I'm going to play with your bathroom on photoshop and see what I can do. Can I use it as a Design Dilemma over at Design Hole?

After seeing your FABulous accesories, I'd suggest that you find a killer cerulean blue paint, with an opalescent or metallic sparkle in it, and make that frame a real focal point.

If you wanted to really go overboard with it, you could get some yellow paint and paint an outline of the mirror's shape onto the walls, so that your mirror looks like it has a giant yellow & blue frame. (I think the current Country Home mag has an idea like this in it....)

By doing this, you'd be adding a real splash of color without making the walls close in on the small space.

I do love those duckies.....

We need to see the mirror close up. Blue for the walls is out. You've got two different hues going on there. I'd paint the walls either a pastel yellow, or keep it white. You might consider a wallpaper with white and yellow in a small print. I think paint is best.

As for the mirror, A high gloss white might be nice. You can tape it off to paint.

Hey, thanks for the pat on the back. I wish more people wrote comments on my blog. I can see via research, that it's being read. But it's much more fun to read people's comments.

Awwww, can't we change the hardware on the cabinet next? Pleeze?

Anyway, we need to see the towels first before we decide on the walls.

It's so hard to write a blog during Christmas! There's regular work, crazy stuff with kids at school, Christmas shopping, wrapping, holiday lunches. This is my first year blogging through the Christmas season, too. So don't despair. I think all of us in Blogland are feeling the same way. Have a Merry Christmas. The bathroom looks great.

I think it would help if you wrote a post showing a room so far. Just so we get a visual reminder. Sign me up for a guest post!

In Behr paints, there are three shades of blue that I think may work. You will have to match the color from there. I think if you go with the same type of blue in the sink, but a little lighter, it will take so away from the sink and put the emphasis on the rest of the bathroom. The colors I liked were " Little Pond " - " Monaco " - " Blue Feather ". Yellow is going to make the sink stand out like a sore thumb.
