Towel Voting is ON!

I got some great ideas from a couple of readers so now is the time for you to chose. Again give me some feedback. The old towels that we have will be donated to either our local SPCA or to one of the local organizations working on the Bay oil spill. They definitely won’t go to waste.

I’d like to make this blog more enjoyable and increase my readership. What would you like to hear about? Does anyone want to do guest blogging about decorating, crafts, etc…?

Without further ado here are your nominations.

    #1 Shimmer Blue.
    #2 Blue dots

For God’s sake, stop putting the damn sea shells back in this mess.

  2. Cheryl Says:

Well you have a little Prince in the house - and the towels are great - so they have my first vote.

Second would be the Tommy blue and yellow. The colors go great and I agree - enough shells and ducks !!!!!!

What do they know. Sea shells are the best. My second choice is the Andrea blue. love yall

  4. Yondalla Says:

How often do you want to wash them?

I like the shimmer blue the best, but I just can’t bring myself to give my first vote to a white towel. I mean, you have a kid! So my first vote is for Andrea Blue, and second for Shimmer. Third vote would be for Turkish Blue and White.

I have always HATED poka dots and still do. Nothing personal. I don’t know why I hate them. Probably my mother dressed me in them and I was riduculed by my peers.

And…um…I bet the person who suggested the ducks and shells was just testing to see if you would really put up anything she… um we … suggested! Although I do sort of like the shells, or would if you bathroom wasn’t getting so d*mn busy already.

This is hard. Do you want the room to look weird, but fun, because people get to vote on anything? Or are you really trying to make it look nice? You’re definitely choosing things that match, so I assume you want it to look somewhat decent.

So, I agree - enough ducks! Unless you really want an over-the-top duck thing (which could be fun but then when you redo the room you’ve sort of wasted all that money). The ducks will have to go eventually because the little guy will outgrow them. Am I getting too professional here?

My vote, therefore, is the jacquard dots, the classic, or the grand stripe. Actually, the grand stripe is the best and so long as you do your laundry fairly often I wouldn’t worry about the fact that they’re white.

By the way, I’d be happy to write a guest post on your blog. You provide the subject and I’ll write the post.

  7. Robin Says:

    Prince is my vote!!

  8. Daddyjoe Says:

I vote for grand stripe. Great towels for guys! Just wash them a lot. My second choice is Chromatic Stripe.

  9. Charlotte Says:

I like the Tommy Blue or the Andrea Blue along with the Yellow. Think it would look good and give the bathroom a cheerful look. :)

  10. melissa Says:

I like the andrea blue for my first pic and for the second one i like the prince ones. they are just so cute lol.

  11. CaMama Says:

I like white towels so that I know they are clean but I think the grand stripe would be really great in your bathroom. If not go with the jaquard. Simple and clean looking.

  12. MNGirl39 Says:

I think you should go with grand stripe because they are so simple and the room is going to be busy with all those ducks. It is getting to look like there are no grown ups using it.
